Constance Broz, born in France, studied international agriculture at Cornell University — where she met her future husband — an experience that shaped her commitment to social justice. After working in agricultural development with Catholic Relief Services in Haiti, she and her husband Thomas founded Live Earth Farm, a community-based organic farm in Santa Cruz with an established educational nonprofit. Since 2010, she has applied those sustainability values to her family's wealth as a hands-on impact investor, collaborating with pioneers in socially responsible investing to develop gender-lens investment strategies and products. Key milestones include aligning her family's donor-advised fund at the Santa Cruz Community Foundation with a gender-lens strategy and deepening her understanding of racial bias in finance through an Impact Experience retreat.
